Katzenliebhaber sollen wohl mit dem Etikett des Melon Head der Northampton Brewing Co (Picaroons) aus Edmunston, New Brunswick, angelockt werden.
Was Melonen mit Katzen zu tun haben, erschließt ich mir nicht ganz.
Die Couleur vielleicht? Das Melon Head kommt ziemlich gülden mit minimaler Trübung daher. Der weiße Schaum ist schnell wieder weg.
In Sachen Aroma gibt es jede Menge Frucht in Form von Melone zu vernehmen.
Beim Geschmack fällt gleich eine gewisse Spritzigkeit auf. Die Melone ist deutlich spürbar, bleibt jedoch dezent. Ganz dezent ist auch eine Hopfigkeit wahrzunehmen.
Erfrischendes Fruit Beer, das wohl jedoch nur für den Hochsommer geeignet scheint. Mir ist es zu wässrig.
