Louis Savard and Andy Brambgurger, are two home-brewers from Cornwall, Ontario who work for the St. Lawrence River Institute of Environmental Sciences (SLRIES), the very lab that does our beer analysis. They came to us with an idea of brewing an IPA but with the characteristics of a blonde in recognition of the 20th anniversary of the institute. It has a low 20 IBU rating of 20 but received a hefty dose of hop varieties Amarillo and Hallertauer Mittelfrueh (a noble German hop). The first hops added was a Warrior variety. This is a great beer to experience the flavours of hops without a strong bitterness. We will definitely be brewing this beer again!
