My first beer from the rising star of Massachussets, Vitamin Sea Brewing. Apparently they make pretty good IPA's, let's see! The label design of the can is spot on! Really good looking 😍 The beer pours as hazy orange, quite dark to be honest. Looks like an old school IPA to be honest. Foam is thick and long lasting. Aroma has ripe fruits such as honey dew and apricot, fresh herbal notes, grapefruit and some caramel malt. The mouthfeel and body are surprisingly full considering this is only 6.2% strong. Nice! 😋 Flavor has sweet overripe fruits, herbal hops, slightly bitter and sweet grapefruit, a touch of grass and some caramel malts. Pretty nice neipa with some old school IPA vibes, though I'm not sure if I like the presence of caramel. It's a bit cloying as this warms up. Still, easy to drink and full of flavor! 🍻
