Well rounded and incredibly hop forward. Subtle caramel malts provide a balanced base for the complex citrus, floral and pine hop notes.

It's not really a super showy beer but it has an orange gold colour and standard head that becomes not more than a thin whispy layer. The nose is delightfully fragrant and floral. Aromas of citrus, pine, and tropical fruits. A rich malt heavy with caramel is nestled gently underneath and in amongst the hops. The palate is treated to a playground of sensations. A fairly large but quick hit of boozy alcohol jumps in right up front. A rush, floral and resinous, dances around the tongue with a nice subtle sweetness to it. A field of fresh grassyness stretches out all through the tastebuds and the bitterness keeps playing on the edges, promising to really kick in but doesn't until near the end of the whole sip. As the hops let up in a moment of peace, a caramel malt shines through, bright rich and sweet. Then the hops crash back in and bring the high tide of bitterness to full flood. The finish is a perfect crescendo of all components presenting together. All this talk to say this is a damn fine IPA.
