At the beach in Gulf Shores hiding from the virus. Okay. Knew this was not going to be your typical beach brew. A spiced heavy milk stout. Let's see what happens. Has almost no head at all. Extremely dark brown in color, opaque. Strong aroma that brings out the chai spice. Texture is creamy, heavy, and almost syrupy. Flavor is powerful. Spicy chai with coffee notes in the background. Seems more like ginger than chai. Finish is a sweet spice and the alcohol presents itself. This would be the perfect beer for the holiday season on a cold winter day in front of a fireplace. Not the best for the beach. That's my fault. Still a very good beer. I'm going to try to buy this again when the season is appropriate for this brew.
