Pineapple, Stonefruits, and some creamy goodness… bitterness is subdued but lasting. Nice pint as always 👍

Sweet tropical fruits, pineapple and papaya, hints of coconut and vanilla. Ever so mellow bitterness with sharp citrus finish.
Thirst quenching and effervescent stuff. Carbonation is on point.

Two hour slog to get the taproom ready for service and a half hour before opening I was done, ready for a brew. The weekend before Christmas here in the UK is normally wet and cold so to see the sun out in all it’s glory, I couldn’t resist basking in those rays and having a thirst quenching pint of Soul Surfing.
Having read my previous reviews of this, there’s not a lot more I can add but I do think it’s getting better, although the brewer does think there’s room for improvement.
Pineapple and creamy coconut dominate proceedings with a hint of papaya, really fresh and juicy and a bitter finish that brings it home nicely. 👌

The first time my local brewery have put beer in to cans and they’re entrusting me to sample it. Have they read any of my reviews?! 😂
They’ve done well here, really pleased with how it’s transitioned from keg to can. Can’t wait to see how they look when my good friend’s labels are on the front too!
Soul Surfing is a punchy hazy pale with lots of aroma that burst from the can. Pineapple, lime and hints of coconut give a clue as to what hops have been used. Thirst quenching bitterness makes you want more, without being overbearing. Carbonation is spot on, head dissipates with a third of the glass left.
For me, this has to be their flagship hazy pale.

Lovely this
Slightly hazy look, light orange colour
Deep orange flavours, with a bittersweet aftertaste
Really satisfying drink and lovely in the sun

I absolutely love my local brewery, they’re a ten minute bike ride away in a far flung area of a local industrial estate. They produce an eclectic mix of cask and keg, traditional and craft. They’re a proper grassroots brewery, one man and his wife. Grafters, they’re the epitome of a northern city stuck on the south coast. They produce some good solid beers, and they’ve had a few mediocre releases over the last years too.
This however is the moneyshot! This is beer!!!🍺
Thirst quenching and juicy with a slight haze. Pineapple, coconut and peach.
