A sumptuous double-mash stout brewed with rich chocolate malt and oats, then topped off with maple and a hint of coconut. Once brewed, this beer was aged in bourbon barrels for six months to give it a delicious warming finish.

Yikes. Pours a deep black, with no head at all. Aroma is all smoky bourbon from the barrel-ageing. An initial maple sweetness gives way to chocolate malt and coconut. To finish, that bourbon comes back to remind you it’s an 11.6% monster! Serious stuff. One for the slow sip!
