Velvet smooth pour to a treacle black body with half a finger of chocolate brown head. Scent starts with smooth chocolate/cocoa with a hint of coffee and finished with a gush of vanilla. Mouthfeel is surprisingly light for such a robust stout, a little carbonation rounded with the punch of the 9.5 % Taste is intense cocoa and a sweet vanilla cutting through the burn of the alcohol. A very nice imperial stout.
