After reading the descriptor and knowing what this brewery is capable of I thought I’d be getting a big hitting beer. The untappd reviews are all describing a classic WC IPA except one. One other reviewer got the same as me.
Unfortunately I had a can full of soapy beer. A little bit of malty sweetness but then not a lot else. It wasn’t disgusting, in fact it was drunk in record time, there was nothing to it except for a soapy flavour.
I’ve had beer like this before. I’m sure I’ve lucked out and got the dregs of the tank or some trub has been churned up or something...
