
We love our Weyermann Pilsner Malt, but for this beer we decided to use 100% Chateau Pilsner from Belgium to make one of the simplest beers we have ever brewed. Using loads of French Strisselspalt hops which draw out lemony citrus, woody, and floral notes, the pilsner malt shines with nutty and bready sweetness followed by more complex fruit from the Escarpment Labs Fruit Bomb blend we usually use for our Rhizome series. Named after a small crossroads town in Newfoundland, we have French hops, Belgian malt, and funky brett coming together for a truly old world inspired beer.
