Really hoppy almost barley wine

Daughter sent me some Texas beers and local beer run has me restocked. This one has a medium high, orangish head. Strong citrus aroma. Color is a clear orangeish amber, very deep for an IPA. Mouthfeel is light and dry. Very citrusy and more bitter than I care for. Should be expected with a double IPA and an alcohol content of 9.5. Flavor subsides during the finish as does the bitterness. More bitter than I prefer, but I'm not an IPA lover. Still it is pretty good and Saloon Door is one of my all-time favorite breweries.
