Of the many ways in which our brewery (Cloudwater) and beers benefit from lot selection, the opportunity to deviate from the norm and take an exciting new turn is one we relish. Two years ago we selected a peculiar lot of Simcoe that wasn’t at all like the rest - it stood out for being fruitier and richer. Last year another lot stood out and it came as no surprise it was from the same farm. Discovering new farms, unusual lots, and exciting variations on familiar themes is only the start of the journey that ultimately leads us to smiles on your faces.
