Black as night with a bit of red that you need to shine a light through to see. Brownish medium head with minor lacing. Mild aroma that includes roast malt, chocolate, wee nudge of coffee and hints of hops. Light in body and subtle in flavour, this stout offers teases of coffee chocolate, and a light roast taste with just a touch of sweet milk. Nice, but very subdued. Well balanced as well. I enjoyed it but like my stouts a little more.... well... stout.
