Blueberry Cobbler style DIPA brewed with Lactose and conditioned on Cinnamon, Graham Crackers, and gobs and gobs of Blueberry Purée.
Notes of fresh crushed blueberries and pie crust. It’s like a liquid version of one of our favorite desserts with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

New beer on PintPlease, new brewery to me and my first milkshake ipa.
Brix City Brewing - Fit For A Queen Milkshake IPA 8%. Brewed with lactose.
Conditioned on blueberry purée, cinnamon and graham crackers. DDH with Mosaic & El Dorado. This should be interesting.
Pours hazy, impenetrable sort of darker red color, like a strawberry-rhubarb juice. Forms less than two fingers thick white head. It's quite fluffy, airy and dissolves really, really slowly. Leaves a half pinky ring's thick carpet on the surface and won't go away, literally just keeps floating around. Time to have a proper sniff.
There's that lactose for sure followed by blueberry but somehow a bit artificial I have to say. I get also vanilla and this gives me a feeling of a blueberry ice cream or could be blueberry pie also. Such a sweet scent on the nose. Totally new to me beer-wise. Can't get cinnamon or the crackers even though I kept drinking it for a quite some time.
Flavour is sweet with lactose and blueberries and vanilla. Blueberry milkshake fo sho guys. After that the flavour changes into something I just can't grasp. Perhaps it's the El Dorado hops that I'm not familiar with. There's that dry hoppy feeling on the tongue in the end. But not too dry cause I find myself sipping more and more.
But yet again the glass is empty too fast. I find myself holding an empty glass and keep asking myself why wasn't there a bit more in the can.
New style for me so I don't have an earlier experience and my rating is based on the current feeling.
