A proper dark, deep and roasty stout that has a real depth of flavour, owed mainly to the complex malt bill - 35 sacks with 8 different malts. This is combined with heaps of coffee, lashings of cacao nibs, with sweet vanilla and Tonka beans adding to the tapestry. Clocking in at 7.5% this is a real armchair beer.

North brewingin ja Duggesin yhteistyönä pastry stout, abv 7,5% eli kevyempää stouttia odotettavissa.
Mustanruskea olut.

Almost black in color. Tall head doesn't last that long. Carbonation seems high: 2,75/5
Aromas of roasted coffee, tonka spiciness of cinnamon and licorice, vanilla, and chocolate. Everything added can be found "the beer" itself is hidden: 3,25/5
Mouthfeel is way milder than expected. Carbonation, fortunately is not high but actually very tamed. Overall the mouthfeel lacks a bit of everything: 3/5
Taste is roasty from the malts it seems. And unlike the scent, the beer dominates the palate. Coffee, vanilla, chocolate, and mild tonka flavor, all sleeping. Some kind of murky aspect is here. Not that interesting: 8,5/15
What a disappointment... I thought this would be packed full of everything but instead the beer is boring and bland. I expected far more from a North x Dugges collab: 9/20
