Oikein hyvä IPA, varsinkin otten huomion alhainen alkoholipitoisuus, kitkeryys on IPA:ksi hyvin maltillinen

Attractively hazy, mango-juice-colored beer with spritzy, short-lived carbonation creates a small-bubbled, off-white head that exceeds one finger. The foamy mattress contracts soon to a lace ring that resembles melting whipped cream. Practically no other marks can be spotted on the glass. The nose experiences a bit of mango, carambola and pineapple floating in lemon juice. The oaty backbone is recognizeable albeit shaky. Somewhat NEIPA-like scent but the fruitiness lags behind. The taste is like a soft fruity IPA with a moderate crisp bite. I find lemon pulp, carambola and a transient nuance of grapefruit, seasoned with dried grated lemon peel. On the grainy side, I'm picking both the rounding oat and a tad stuffy wheat malt that, according to the list of ingredients, is actually just a hallucination. The fascinating characteristic is that the taste is not thin, let alone watery, and still this is only 3.8 %. It's a big plus! The light-bodied beer ends with slightly dry hops that additionally feature a pinch of dry grass. The fruity palette is narrower than upfront, consisting of grapefruit peel, lemon pulp and lemon pith. The aftertaste lingers fairly long on the tastebuds. The mouthfeel is light, light-crisp and balanced. It's refreshing and summery, even rather juicy. Easy and gluggable, rating adjusted to the ABV.

Kovin kepeä mutta virkistävä. Vain 3,8% mikä selittää paljon. Ei huono ” mellanööliksi” mutta muuten jättäisin väliin. Ja ai niin, kauraa tietysti. En tiedä onko vain nimeksi vai missä suhteessa?

Edumaniaa havaittavissa, eli sessioitavaa kaura IPAa Olarista. Sumean kellertävä väri, tuoksu trooppisen hedelmäinen, maussa happamuutta, runko odotetun kevyehkö, juotavuus toki melko tapissa. Itse herra Kehäkettunen on mainostanut tätä hyväksi skeittausbisseksi, mutta toimii myös palautukseen pyörälenkin jälkeen.

En oikeen osaa sanoa pidänkö tästä vai en. Periaatteessa aika hedelmäinen, mutta toisaalta aika kuiva ja kirpsakka. Ainakin on raikas ja hapokas. Jälkimaku ehkä hieman liian katkera.
