Pours opaque ebony with voluptuous aromas of raisins, amaretto, and roasty bourbon. The silky, viscous mouthfeel coats the palate with a turbinado sweetness, dark fruit, and a smooth, belly-warming, spirited finish.

Amazing nose. So intense. Bourbon Barrel, Vanilla, Chocolate and Toffee.
Mouthfeel is rich, smooth, sweet, balanced and easy to drink. Damn how can this be so easy to drink.
I can taste Bourbon Barrels, chocolate, caramel, toffee, vanilla, dried fruits, coffee and raisins.
Aftertaste is smooth, sweet and chocolaty.
Amazing beer! If you love good intense and balanced Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout you love this beer. Six years old and still gold!

Omalaatuinen bourbon-tynnyrikypsytetty olut, josta löytyy bourbon elementtien lisäksi poltettua sokeria, tummahedelmäisyyttä, sherryä ja tammitynnyriä. Erittäin täyteläinen ja siirappinen olut, joka ei maistu etanoliselta prosenteista huolimatta.

Maussa siirappisuutta, rusinaa, fariinisokeria ja ehkä jopa taatelia. Paksua mutta helppoa juotavaa. Suklaisuutta en tästä löytänyt ja siitä pieni miinus. Alkoholin maku ei paistanut läpi juuri yhtään. Hiilihappo myös heikkoa.
