Farmageddon is our wild farmhouse ale that we've been brewing, blending, and aging for almost as many years as we've been open. The blending process allows us to maintain a common thread across batches, the aging adds nuanced layers, while the brett and bacteria work hard to create small idiosyncrasies in each release. It's a refined, effervescent, and delicious beer worthy of special occasions and idle weeknights.
The balanced, bright, slightly acidic, subtly bretty barrel aged beer that is Farmageddon has come to exist as the perfect base for experimentation with wine grapes and fruit.
This limited variant conditioned on a combination of Canadian cranberries and cherries for over a month before conditioning in the bottle for 6 months.
Tart, bubbly and delicious in the extreme, this wild ale boasts flavours and aromas of tart berries, crushed almond, cherry blasters, baking spice and finishes dry, with welcome tannic notes.

The cherry and cranberry version of 2019's Farmageddon. This has been ageing in my cellar since September 2020.
The first pour into the glass is clear, but when you pour more later it becomes really cloudy. This is also the case with Lambics.
The aroma has a lot of staples, leather, apple, cherry and acidity. In a blind test, 10 times out of 10 I would say definitely a Lambic.
Still very rich carbonation, tart and a really fresh beer. This has aged so nicely. Sour, dry, easy to drink, a bit light and really well balanced.
The taste has acidity, apple, leather, stables, apple, earthiness, cherry, cranberry and oak.
The aftertaste is quite dry, sour and has a lot of appleiness.
Very nice "American Lambic" = American Wild Ale.

2019 vuoden Farmageddonin kirsikka ja karpalo versio. Omassa kellarissani tämä on ollut kypsymässä syyskuusta 2020.
Ensimmäinen kaato lasiin on kirkas, mutta kun kaataa myöhemmin lisää muuttuu tosi sameaksi. Näinhän käy myös Lambicien kanssa.
Tuoksussa tosi runsaasti tallia, nahkaa, omenaa, kirsikkaa ja happamuutta. Sokkotestissä sanoisin 10 kertaa kymmenestä että ehdottomasti Lambicia.
Edelleen erittäin runsaat hiilihapot, kirpsakka ja tosi fressin oloinen. Ei näy aika yhtään, ainakaan negatiivisesti. Hapan, kuiva, helposti juotava, pikkasen kevyt ja tosi tasapainoinen.
Maussa on happamuutta, omenaa, nahkaa, tallia, omenaa, maanläheisyyttä, kirsikka, karpaloa ja tammea.
Jälkimaku aika kuiva, hapan ja siinä on runsaasti omenaisuutta.
