Grimbergen Brassin De Noël
6.5% Belgian Ale
Back in the 12th century, the Fathers opened the doors of Grimbergen Abbey to the villagers when the first snow fell and celebrated a glorious feast. Every autumn, and only for this special occasion, they brewed an exquisite winter beer from that year’s harvest. This spicy and generously hopped amber beer with aromas of caramel, liquorice and ripe fruits, as well as a fine note of macerated prune, is still brewed every year. Causing an annual thrill of anticipation, it became famous under the name Grimbergen Noël.
