4.1
Self-made flight 3/3. Lucid, amber beer with a decent though low, silky lacing wafting on the surface. The retention of the lace ring is substantially long. The nose finds sour lemon zest, a tad orange juice, a good dollop of passionfruit and a tiny note of white wine. The gustatory universe reveals sour lemon zest, bitter orange peel, a good amount of fermented clementine, white wine and a pinch of farmhouse yeast. Appealing. I 🧡 this. The body is light-medium to medium. The beer ends with a distinctly vinous fruity package of lemon, clementine, bitter orange peel and passionfruit. The impression of white wine is unavoidable. The aftertaste makes the tastebuds grind their teeth for a long time. The mouthfeel is vinous, a tad crisp and also slightly tart. It's not really puckering but rather dry and mouth-drying. Nicely fermented indeed but a bit too light.
