The aroma is really enticing: sweet, malty and toffee. The flavour is a little bitter, malty and caramel but doesn’t live up to what’s promised in the nose. Aftertaste feels confused. It’s decent but feels like a missed opportunity.

Mellow with some roast malt, bonfire toffee and chocolate coming through. Thin, easy drinking and well balanced.

Fairly decent, sweet tasting, oatmeal stout. Nothing complex on the taste. It’s ok, nothing more, nothing less.
