I haven’t had many Belgium stouts so I’m intrigued. This has a dark fruit taste that is candied leaning towards raisin & black cherry. Has some light chocolate. Has some very light dark roasted malt - seems a little muted by the candied sweetness in this one.
Overall it’s pretty good but a little sweet for me. It is like a quad / stout hybrid.

Tried a 6-oz sampler of this strong double Imperial Stout. Came on tap with little head, totally opaque, brown in color. Little carbonation. Strong aroma mainly of alcohol. Creamy and a little sweet, has an earthy chocolate quality. A modest bitter finish. Again the strong alcohol from beginning to end. Have to drive so 6 oz is all I can have. Wish I could have been more.
