Self-made flight of Meads 3/4. UT clocks 4.62 for this one. The third Mead fills the glass murky, deep burgundy. What a surprise... No head can be observed. The fragrance offers hefty berry liqueur made of blueberry and raspberry. I guess that combination is called queen's jam. No question that it waters my mouth! The palate portrays, surprisingly, dominant lingonberry liqueur, accompanied by a powerful punch of blueberry nectar and a small amendment of puckering rowanberry. I love this cocktail, too! The full-bodied Mead serves powerful lingonberry liqueur, a big spoonful of rowanberry jam and a tad cranberry nectar in the finish. The aftertaste rolls on tongue for a long time. The mouthfeel is -- not so surprisingly -- sappy, thick, sticky and lip-glueing. Moreover, the mouthfeel is full, deep, a bit liqueur-like, slightly tart and slow. Still awesome overall!
