New beer on PintPlease, at least I couldn't find it. Bissell Brothers Brewing Company - i-Lucky. India pale ale brewed with rice and ginger. Canned on 16/1/20 so pretty fresh stuff, around three weeks now. Pours totally murky, darker yellow in color. Head reaches one finger height and is thick but still quite fluffy. As it descends there's loads of lacing on the sides and a thicker ring on the edges. Nose receives some fruitiness like pineapple and also something I can't quite grasp, might be the rice giving a certain scent here. It's nicely hoppy and I get a nice bunch of coniferous characters like pine and needle. Ginger can be also found in the midst. Flavour then is really hoppy and coniferous. Whole lot of pine and needle and warmth from ginger that isn't sharp but nicely lingers for a long long time on the tongue. I dig this. Finish is dry, slightly bitter because of ginger. I like this because the taste stays for a long period of time and that is what I want from a beer. Thank you GREY for this one, appreciate it buddy. 🙏🍻👊
