Polly's rarely fails with IPAs. Can. Canned on 2.1.2020 Temperature: +8 C Looks juicy. Completely hazy, Yellow-Orange color. Large, creamy head with excellent retention. Solid laces. I like the way this looks: 5/5 To be fair, I'm not a big fan of the idea with single hopping with Ekuanot. And this is why: the aroma feels watery, not enough character... There's mild watermelon aroma, supported by some papaya and grapefruit. But that's about it: 3/5 Medium-light body, medium carbonation. High bitterness. Ekuanot seems to give sharp, not so pleasant bitterness. Still, an appropriate mouthfeel for West Coast IPA: 4/5 Taste has that same watery feel like the scent. No watermelon. Mostly citrus and overall fruitiness with heavy cedar and resiny pine flavor. The aftertaste is mild with some sharp bitter feel: 10,25/15 This beer either doesn't make me like Ekuanot hops. And overall, I feel this is not on Polly's level. Lacks overall character. Easy to drink though, but not sure if that's a good thing or not: 13,25/20 =35,5/50
