In Houston Texas with my son-in-law having a Clown Shoes Imperial Stout 2019. Thick texture from bottle to glass. Smell Maple and strong bourbon. Heavy in the mouth, roasted malt ahead of powerful maple. Oak barrel bourbon on top of it all. Creamy as hell. A soft bittersweet lingers on a delicious finish. Late in the finish, a dark milk chocolate appears out of nowhere. Nice surprise. Simple, balanced, tells you what you're getting and produces. This beer has no negatives. Excellent.
