A no-nonsense, traditional Best Scotch once brewed for the North East by Edinburgh brewers. Not unlike a Midlands dark mild it is made with Maris Otter and crystal malts, roasted barley and Goldings hops. It is an easy drinking, not too bitter, session ale with a creamy white head.
