Square Root are known for making soft drinks favourites with innovative twists. They’ve been a lifeline for us over the year serving up delights at beer festivals when we’re either feeling a little shakey in the morning or when our pallets are in need of something a little different. At Indy Man Beer Con they were serving up shandies made with our Rhubarb + Blood Orange Sour, Volta, sublime! We both felt a collab coming on. In this beer we’ve taken inspiration from the Berliner Weisse style, using lots of wheat to increase mouthfeel and fruity esters. Grapefruit juice and zest takes the centre stage, working tightly with the souring of the beer and bringing a slick sweetness, whilst woodworm provides a clean, bitterness and fresh cut grass flavour. Low ABV and so easily drinkable, perfect to refresh your pallet after the seasons indulgence.
