Très jolie robe noire aux reflets rouges. Faible carbonatation. Nez sur le pain grillé avec des notes torréfiées. En bouche explosion de saveurs de cacao avec une belle complexité. On a des notes torréfiées mais aussi une certaine douceur lactée. Fin de bouche douce, lactée toujours avec un rappel sur des notes torréfiées. Stout avec une belle amertume, très complexe mais pourtant bien équilibrée. Vraiment du archi lourd!

Cette Impériale est plutôt sympa, entre fruits et toast ! Les 9% sont assez discrets 🍻

Dernière de la série, une impérial stout qui n'est pas trop forte en arômes de café. Les 9 degrés se font tout de même un peu sentir, c'est pas mon style de bière mais un peu comme les autres, je l'ai trouvé sans trop de caractère... Résultats des courses bah les italiens et la bière ça fait deux

Bien ronde et crémeuse. Bonne amertume

Beer 4/4. Transparent, very dark mahogany beer with a pale tawny, thick head that climbs to two fingers' height. Retention is protracted. The foamy hat sustains as such for long. The olfactory supply contains something familiar but still can't get it straight away in my mind... [I take a bit of time...] It could be thyme but it merges with a pinch of rosemary, roasted malt, dark caramel and sweet coffee. Not sure, though, if this is even close to it, this is now challenging to me. I mean challenging to analyze the components. Sweet sugared coffee is certainly in the palate. Moreover, I pick burned malt, brown sugar, cacao nibs, caramel and a herbal twist that is now unidentifiable. The body is medium. This is now again less prominent than I anticipate since this clocks 9 %. The end offers piney flavors, burned coffee beans, raw chocolate and a whisper of bitter caramel. The mouthfeel is burned, medium-crisp, dry, drying and distantly herbal. Nothing spectacular but wins this race.

Das Finale der "giro di luppolo" im Doppio Malto Cagliari mach das Imperial IPA mit satten 9%. Ich muss gestehen, das ist mein erstes dunkles Imperial IPA und ich ich bin ziemlich gespannt. In tiefschwarzer Optik erscheint ein Glas. Im Geruch überwiegt ein dezentes Röstmalzaroma. Geschmacklich werden mir hier eine Kombination aus Röstmalzaromen und aromatischer Hopfigkeit präsentiert, was ich schon recht interessant finde. Im Nachtrunk setzt dann eine enorme Hopfenbittere ein, die für meinen Geschmack etwas zu wuchtig daher kommt. Insgesamt aber definitiv trinkenswert und die bisher interessanteste Verkostung des Abends.
