Bonne bière avec des notes de café bien présent en bouche et des notes de fruits à noyau et de pain

New beer on PintPlease. Someone had put it here already, no reviews though and the brewery was false so I had to change it. This is my 4th Imperial porter. It pours deep dark in colour with just a little bit of brown foam. At first it seems that nothing builds up. Doesn't take long to fade away to a thin ring on the surface. Huge smoked aroma on the nose; I get also tar and like the little chopped pieces of alder that my dad uses when he makes smoked meat, leather, chocolate and faint coffee. Smokey aroma is the key here and I'm liking it. Flavour then is a mixture of sweet and sharp. First sweetness, could be that apricot that I couldn't get on the aroma, sugar and syrup and then smoke beautifully balances the sweetness. After that tar and alder start to dance together on the tongue receptors. Slight nuance of leather. A bit warming feeling but the 11% abv isn't strong here, hardly detectable. Suits my palate and I'm really into this smokey flavour in this.
