2019 vintage Some Christmas spices in the aroma. I guess this was brewed with candy cap mushrooms, but I don't know what those smell or taste like. Taste has a bit of an earthy taste, presumably from the mushrooms, along with subtle Christmas spices of ginger, nutmeg and maple. Unique, yet interestingly tasty. From reading the label, the mushrooms are what gives off the maple flavor. This was a wishlist beer that I finally found. Nothing groundbreaking, but still quite tasty. 4/5
