RACK 'EM UP Series: #8 Black Ball
11.2% Imperial Stout
Thick black colour but no thick mouth feel. Intense vanilla sweetness which settles into a whiskey burn. Only small hint of coffee/chocolate. A reasonable offer in 440ml can but is more quantity than quality.

A nice pour, a deep black in colour but thinner than I expected. Remaining body has a little carbonation and no head. Scent was strong chocolate out of the can, after it settles there is lots of sweet malt, toffee and vanilla, with a light cinder hint around the very light whiskey presence. Mouthfeel is nice, carbonation at the start but the whisky smooths it out. Taste is full on chocolate with an underlay of vanilla and a slight nuttiness. The whiskey presence has really built itself up by being out of the can and fuses all the other profiles together. The longer the beer is out of the can, the more depth and maturity the taste carries. A very nice a year barrel aged stout.

Très très agréable... Un goût léger et pas agressive... Je pense que le deuxième effet vient plus tard 👌🤙
