Une IPA islandaise artisanale qui revendique son territoire à Geysir, terre des geysers. Et c'est exactement ce que l'on a: une pale ale totalement portée sur l'amertume, dans la pure tradition anglaise. Pas mal, mais pas mon style préféré.

Geysir Thermal Pale Ale is a must at the Geysir site.  🍺 The beer pours foggy, copper with decent, long-standing carbonation that unleashes an off-white, tiny-bubbled, one-finger froth. The head shrinks soon to a hair-thin lace ring circling the top. The scent displays light-sweet biscuit, Digestives and wheat malt. The taste follows the suit with Digestives, faint wheat malt and restrained hops. I can also pick a small injection of dried grated lemon peel. The body is light to light-medium. The beer finishes with a mild cocktail of bitter crackers, lemon peel, dry-grassy hops and wheat malt with a yeasty overlayer. The aftertaste erupts rapidly and hovers on the tastebuds for some time. The mouthfeel is light-crisp, a bit musty and closed as well as faintly mouth-drying. Rather old-school and standard.
