Lucid, amber beer with an off-white, soft velvety head adorning the top. The fragrance is unexpected and odd: salty popcorn. What an earth...? Will this be an off-flavor? The taste portrays hefty sour orange and lemon pulp, a good punch of tangerine, distant whitecurrant and a hint of vanilla. Fortunately the salty popcorn didn't continue to the tongue. The light-bodied beer ends with loads of sour orange and bitter lemon pulp. I can still find a suggestion of whitecurrant. However, no vanilla remains anymore in the finish. The aftertaste has a medium to long duration. The mouthfeel is light, somewhat tart, slightly puckering, semidry as well as mouth-drying.
