Flight 3/4. Opaque, jet black beer with a subdued, silky, chocolatey head. The olfactory provision allows one to inhale seductive aromas of hefty maple syrup, nutella, dark chocolate and mudcake, seasoned with delicate vanilla. The tongue experiences harsh raw chocolate, a subtle injection of maple syrup and silky vanilla. I can also pick a whisky nuance of oak barrel in the immediate proximity. The body is medium-full. Coarse whisky and wet oak barrel intensify dramatically their appearance on the taste receptors. Dark chocolate, rather evident tonka and a drop of maple syrup complete the long finish. The mouthfeel is rather strong, oily, sticky and lip-glueing. It's also relatively full, a bit boozy and elegant.
