A mellow pour with a settled finger of pale head. Body is very dark red, more rich brown than red and with very little carbonation. Aroma is deep caramel with a pine hoppiness running through it. The taste suffers some dilution to the aroma, maybe a bad can, which doesn't balance with the heavy 7.2% character. Would try again.
