Taas hirveä vaahtoaminen myös tämän panimon toisessa tuotteessa 😠 Red Alessa ei pitäisi olla happoja paljoa. No tässä makua sentään kunhan vaahdot laskivat muttei mikään hyvä.

Second to last from Western Herd.
0,44l can from Rastal Craft Master One. Canned in March.
Same familiar can design. Simple yet working.
Deep copper beer with red tint. Light brown foam. Not a bad look.
Sweet caramel scent with notes of berries.
Low carbonation, first for this brewery 😅. Mouthfeel is oily but slightly thin.
Surprisingly good taste! Sweet caramel and wet barley. Fresh hay with notes of lemon and flowers. Bitter metal on the background, but luckily not too strong. Hop oils and some chocolate.
Ends with bitter lemon and sweet caramel.
One of the better red ales. Still not my cup of tea, but pretty enjoyable. Not good enough to make me buy this.

Western Herd - Atlantic Irish Red Ale
Free sample received from Pint Please to review. Cheers!
New Irish brewery once again to sample.
Label art is simplistic, quite bland and not really unique. Clear font and design though.
Pours into glass with one finger foam which looks bit soapy but mostly good. Reddish color.
Scent is bit malty, lot of metallic tones there. Grainy, also bit of red ale caramel.
Taste is very carbonated, quite sharp, yeasty even. Somewhat red ale-ish flavour, also quite bitter.
Body is overly carbonated and light.
Not a delighting experience. Probably gone partially bad. Metal flavour is very strong and carbonation cannot be this much on a Red Ale.

Väri on oluessa oikein hyvä ja tölkki on mukavan erottuva vaikkakin aika pelkistetty.
Maku oluessa on todella raikas. Ehkä sellaisia red alen eroavuuksia en tässä huomaa vaan hyvin alemainen maku tässä on. Valitettavasti tämä maku jää aika tasaiseksi eikä oikein herätä makuaisteja sen kummemmin.

Not a big fan of red ales. Always have start my red ale reviews with a disclaimer 😄
Beer looks really good. Pretty full flavoured. Malty and bitter. Tastes better the more I drink. I actually like this! 🥳
Can design looks stylish. Is that some map of a coast on the can?

Temperature: +12 C
Red color with copper hues. Tall, creamy head with excellent retention. Large lace. Solid looking beer: 4,75/5
The aroma is malty with toasted hues. Not much caramel, but more of like a butter aroma. Then a "house flavor" which is quite hard to describe, but I'm not a fan of this specific aroma. Overall feels very clean, even too mild: 3/5
Mouthfeel is medium with harsh bitterness that just runs in the mouth right after taking the first sip. Slightly acidic as well. Doesn't work for me: 2,75/5
That bitterness together with a mild acidic feel impacts the flavor a lot, seemingly covering some stuff under itself. The taste is otherwise malty clean again with some toasty notes. Balanced caramel flavors in there as well: 8/15
Not my Cup of tea. Now, when I'm thinking about it, I'm not sure if that harsh thing even comes from the hops but nevertheless it's quite irritating especially because it sticks in the mouth for such a long time. But if you can ignore that harsh feel, the overall picture of the beer is clean and easy. Almost Lager-like clean: 10/20
