The middle and orignal kid of the Bueno family, between an imperial and a mini. This shake clocks in at 6.4% ABV and isn't a nitro stout but a milk stout, so I expect sweet chocolate just like the mini I had some time ago.
Jet black (or brown to be exact) and opaque and it doesn't let any light through. Light toast brown head that simmers away after a few mins. Lots of roasted barley amd malts on the nose with that familiar marmite yeast undertone, but there is also a port-like note and the advertised hazelnut sits as an air-like suggestion above the chocolate and roasts.
Well carbonated in the mouth with a smooth syrupy texture though not too thick. Black treacle sweetness with nutty chocolate and coffee and gentle vanilla, which bolsters the lactose for this milk stout. It's all very common as it's tried and tested as a formula to success. Soft yet big bodied with rich malt and pleasing lighter elements that all produce a well rounded brew. It's big but not imperial and as such the danger of marmite overload is low, your reminded solely of classc chocolate, vanilla and hazelnut milk stout flavours, and the roasty toasty side, though rich, never transposes into extra old marmite like some imperials do.
A milk stout for stout fans, if won't offend and it will please, but it won't excite or inspire. A balance between bold flavours, brew ABV and drinkability.

If you miss pudding, head for this beer. It's sweet and unashamedly so. I love it, but only the one.

Well this one just kicked my ass!! If you ever wondered what Nutella would be like in a drinkable form then this is it. Just add in the imperial factor to make it grown up.
