Introducing Higher State, a brand new beer with a brand new hop: Idaho 7. Named after its home state, Idaho 7 has a really interesting hop profile bringing orange citrus, marmalade, juicy tropical and sticky pine. We have partnered Idaho 7 with a second American hop in the shape of Ahtanum, a sweet, piney hop. This pint will be aromatic, citrussy, piney and have commonalities with an American IPA whilst coming in at a moderate 4.2% ABV. In appearance, this will be light gold pint. A malt bill of Weyermann Melanoidin, the beautiful Belgian Chateau Arome and Vienna malt give it full body and an exceptional colour, a hint of biscuity flavours and a smooth bitterness. And just to add extra body we’ve added naked malted oats for fullness.
