Flight 4/4. I'm glad that there was at least this one Swiss 🇨🇭 beer still to be tasted here. Muddy, deep copper beer with reasonable, rather short-lived carbonation creates a velvety, off-white head that elevates up to one finger. The foamy cap dissolves somewhat over time but decorates the top as a soft cotton layer for significantly long. The olfactory experience contains powerful fruity grapefruit and a dollop of orange zest, accompanied by medium-sweet apple, a pinch of fresh peach and a little injection of raisin. The taste profile is heavily hopped, part of which hops is dry hops. There's also a strong, piney kick riding the hoppy road, paparazzied by a good shot of resin that adds the level of challenge to me. The citrus can't be described particularly fruity though. I also pick faint caramel behind the scenes. The body is medium. The beer ends with quite hefty unspecifiable citrus. An interesting, almost vanishing nuance of raisin and an extraordinarily bitter caramelly hint follow in the background but not for long. The mouthfeel is relatively dry and somewhat mouth-drying. It's also a little bit puckering, yet quite crisp and faintly lip-glueing. Interesting. Generally speaking, the beer is rather old-school, straighforward and ungimmicky. These are still needed, perhaps even more than ever. This is the winner of the flight but still there's no need to carve this name on a monument. Since this is also my last time at this place for a while, I left a little memory in the bathroom.
