Musta.
Imelää, paahteista sokeria, vaahterasiirappia.
Paksu ja yllättävän poreileva kärki, paksun paahteinen runko. Makumaailmassakin paljon enemmän paahteista siirappisuutta kuin maapähkinävoita. Jälkimaussa tuo pähkknäisyys häivähtää ohkaisena.

First rated this beer with Ryan over 2 years ago. It's an Idaho beer and never thought I would ever see it again. By chance, I found more. Here we go again.
Modest head, dissipates. Not totally opaque, looks like a cola in color. Aroma has a molasses sweetness along with maple syrup. Texture is smooth, soft but still not heavy. Taste brings the maple syrup first quickly adding the peanut butter. A brown sugar bonds the two together and combines an espresso coffee to round out the flavors. It goes into the finish that adds the bitterness of a French roast coffee and then is gone.
I very much enjoy this Idaho beer. Seems more like a porter in texture but the level of flavor is satisfying while still not being as heavy as most dessert stouts. Definitely deserves the 4.8 I gave it the two previous ratings.

Wanted to try this beer again and see if it's as good as I remember.
Not a heavy texture, and not totally opaque, very deep reddish brown color. Maple syrup aroma. Flavor is strong roasted malt of brown sugar or maple. Smooth peanut butter, no alcohol apparent. Transitions into a dry finish. Very drinkable imperial stout.

Viikon syntiveron aika. Maussa mieto paahteisuus ja maapähkinän maku. Ehkä hieman liian kylmänä lasiin, joten lämmitellään hetki josko löytyisi uusia makuja.

I was enjoying this beer so much with my son-in-law on Duo, that I almost forgot to take the photo.
This brew starts with a rather low head that dissipates quickly. Opaque brown color. Slight aroma of maple. Texture is smooth but not heavy. First impression is strong and lasting maple, then trails off into a gentle peanut butter. The finish then transitions into a dark semi sweet French roast coffee.
Wow! Very impressed with the different levels of flavor and how they were each able to dominate their phase. Bought this as a single but I have got to find more. I love a good dessert beer and this is near the top of my list.

Tuoksu mieto, vaahto reippaan kuohkea, ensipuraisu lakritsi/yskänlääke/makea, kyllä sieltä maapähkinävoi löytyy, jättää suuhun hieman tahmea "kalvon", kyllä tästä tykkää, lämmittävä...ei ehkä näiden kelien juoma +26°, hyvä tuttavuus...
