This is a side by side by side comparison with Hipster Brunch Stout and Rye Hipster Brunch Stout. I'm only going to post on this one since I've had the other two before. H: Coffee, chocolate, bourbon and smoky bacon in the aroma. Taste has maple syrup, bourbon, coffee and the smoked bacon coming in towards the back end and lingering. RH: Smoky bacon, rye spiciness, and a faint bit of coffee in the aroma. Taste has rye whiskey, maple syrup, light coffee and a little bit of smoky bacon. MRH: Rum, maple syrup, coffee and smoky bacon in the aroma. Taste has rum and maple syrup first, followed by coffee and towards the back end the molasses and smokiness from the bacon is showing up. All three are great. All have their own great qualities. I think my personal favorite of the three is the Molasses Rum Hipster. The complexity and balance of this one is near perfect in my opinion. 4.5/5
