Christmas Beer Advent 2020 Day 1 The aroma that treats you on opening this beer tells you it’s going to be a good beer. Deep espresso coffee aromas with a hint of chocolate. It pours thick with a nice fizz but is foamless once in the glass. Flavour wise it’s a true RIS enhanced with coffee. There’s a good helping of roasted barley, espresso coffee and bitter dark chocolate as well as lots of dark fruit nuances towards the end. I’ve had sea buckthorn in a stout before and in a similar vane the cascara buckthorn provides a subtle tartness that compliments the heavy flavours of roast malt, dark chocolate and espresso. I don’t want this beer to end, it’s delicious 😋

Spannendes Bier. Sehr aromatisch. Auch wenn mir manche Aromen nicht so schmecken. Trotzdem insgesamt lecker.

Also die 11 Umdrehungen schmeckt man nicht raus. Sehr aromatisch. Ne gelungene Abwechslung aber nichts für den ganzen Abend

Lähes vaahdoton. Tuoksussa vahvaa ohramallasta, mutta myös jonkinlaista vadelman ja luumun sekoitusta. Myös kahvi ja tee sekoittuu keskenään niin, ettei oikein tiedä kumpaa on enemmän. Maku ei juuri tuoksusta muutu, mutta kieltämättä erikoinen ja miellyttävä. Pidempään maisteltuna paahteinen mallas ja tumma hedelmäisyys jää päällimmäiseksi. Lähes hapoton ja makeahko. Paksu ja täyteläinen suutuntuma.

Pikimustaa stoutia. Kunnon puuroa. Mukava salmiakkinen jälkimaku. Tosi kova.
