Hoppy with a smokey wood hint and good carbonation, not bad

Warming up for the Italy game with a beer from Hadrian’s Wall! Brewed in Twice Brewed, they know what they’re doing. Malty, amber, smooth, very well balanced. English know-how with a Latin name.

A pleasure to drink and a classic IPA. Beer is a deep gold, not 100% clear with a thin white head. Aroma is hoppy, woody and a citrus note. Tastes caramel, citrus perhaps almost orange-like with a medium sweetness and bitterness. Creamy and smooth. Could be a tat more hoppy, but it’s a very pleasant IPA and I will definitely have more.
