I’m a chelada fan anyway. And this is another nice chelada. The lime is clearly present and it has a nice salty bite as well. I prefer it in a salt-rimmed frosted glass with a pinch of creole seasoning or your pick of hot sauce. Cant bring myself to rate it any higher because of the 3.5 percent.

It's Cinco de Mayo 🎉 so why not have another. Fourth Mexican beer to enjoy today. A Modelo with some added flavors. Lime and salt, nice.
Small head that disappeared before I could get the photo. I can actually smell lime in the glass. That first taste brings lime and salt with a vengeance. Only toward the middle do you get a hint that it's a beer. Very light corn malt which then quickly travels into the finish with more of a soft limeade.
I know this is a beer but it really reminds me of a shanty. That's what this is, a Mexican shanty. A whole lot of salty limeade with some beer thrown in. Don't get me wrong. I loved it. Sitting by the pool with some 3 1/2% limeade and beer combination, I can do that. But, is this really beer? I don't care.
