Side by side review with the regular version of Love Shadow. Coconut, vanilla, chocolate and bourbon in the aroma. Taste has coconut, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon and a little bit of oak. The bourbon is definitely more subtle than in the regular version. The addition of the coconut adds a sweetness that makes this much smoother than the regular version. I like the addition of the coconut and how it makes the beer more mellow and sweeter. I also like how the chocolate is more noticeable. With that being said, I prefer the regular version. The bourbon is more noticeable and very tasty, and you lose a good bit of that in this one. We'll call this a low 4.25/5

Coconut, chocolate, vanilla and bourbon in the aroma. Taste has vanilla first, followed by bourbon, chocolate and toasted coconut. The bourbon and coconut linger in the aftertaste along with some oak. Tasty beer. I'll have to try it side by side with the regular version one day. 4.25/5
