Double Stout is based on a coded Brewers log that was recently discovered in the Brewers archives. The use of the UK's last remaining solid oak mash runs and East Kent Golding Hops bear the hallmarks of a signature brew by Britain's oldest brewery.

An age old recipe makes this a very good Double Stout (bordering Porter) from Shep's as you might expect. Roasted malt, chocolate & coffee flavours in a fairly thick brew.

Tämä stoutti maistuu tumman paahteiselle kahville ja suklaalle, olut tuntuu suussa samettiselta ja on lasissa täysin mustaa. Oluen päälle muodostuu näyttävä ja hyvin pysyvä vaahto. Tässä on myös tarpeeksi prosentteja makuuni.

Stoutteja en yleensä juo, mutta tuttu houkutteli maistamaan. Ekat maut suussa oli lakritsi ja hämmennys. Melkoista tököttiä. Mutta tykkää, joka tykkää.
