Clear, deep bronze mead with no head understandably. Looks attractive and slow-moving. The scent offers hefty fruit liqueur, a tad sugarcane, a good pour of honey and distant sweet rum, seasoned with equal amounts of dried apricot, banana and cantaloupe. The taste portrays rather powerful banana, honey-flavored fruit wine and modest sugarcane. I can also detect a small dollop of apricot liqueur as well as attractive sweet pear, followed by a faint nuance of sweet rum. The Mead ends with loads of fruit wine, identifiable fermented banana and a subtle touch of honey. The aftertaste glues the tastebuds for a short time only. The mouthfeel is a bit vinous, really sappy and somewhat lip-glueing but surprisingly little sticky though. It's also significantly thick and slow-moving. Very desserty of course.

Hanasta. Tuoksussa makeaa hunajaa. Aavistus banaania. Maku on hunajaisen banaaninen ja sokerisen makea. Alkoholi on kyllä hienosti piilossa. Ei happoja. Meadit on ok, mutta banaani ei vaan itselleni toimi. 3,3 tähteä.

Lievähkösti liian makeaa omaan makuun. Pelkkää makeaa hunajaa banaanin maulla.
