Heavier than porter. Soy sauce taste. A little bit bitter

My favorite Baltic

Новая версия 6ки. Балтийский портер от балтики прочно вплетён в мою жизнь, чутка писал об этом ранее... Сейчас же - плотный, даже на взгляд, раствор, чёрный, с куцей ржавой шапкой. Это не плохо, это гуд. Аромат слаб, ноты копчёного чернослива, железа(мозг рисует якорные цепи, не меньше). Глоток средней плотности, круглый, резкость на минимуме. Вкус без акцентов, как сжатый кулак, где все пальцы на месте, маслянисто, слегка горчит, вроде и кофе и жжёность, но и сухофрукты с лакокраской. Нет вырывающегося профиля. Это шикарно. Есть в мире пиво вкуснее? Да ну конечно же! Есть такое же? Ха ха ха, 1000 раз нет! Мой топ среди Балтики 0-10 в новых варках, хотя я ещё 9ку не дегустнул. Now - a dense, even at first glance, solution, black, with a scanty rusty cap. This is not bad, this is good. The aroma is weak, notes of smoked prunes, iron (the brain draws anchor chains, no less). A sip of medium density, round, sharpness at a minimum. The taste is without accents, like a clenched fist, where all the fingers are in place, oily, slightly bitter, like coffee and burntness, but also dried fruits with varnish and paint. No bursting profile. This is gorgeous. Is there a tastier beer in the world? Of course! Is there one like it? Ha ha ha, 1000 times no! My top among Baltika 0-10 in new brews, although I have not yet tasted the 9th. Brewed in the Leningrad(w). 110₽/0,5 l

Latest Baltic Porter, this one as far as I can tell is brewed in St.Petersburg and has made it all the way to a little EU shop in Bognor Regis. 7% Caramel notes, not too shabby, happy it has sought me out.

Baltika Porter no.6 the only Russian brew to be featured in the Great Beer Guide 500 Classic Brews (so google says). Found in a great little EU supermarket in Bognor Regis. Caramel note 7%, definite after taste, not my favourite Baltic porter but that’s like me saying not my favourite bar of chocolate ! Still delicious and would purchase again.
