Alright, decided a Friday after work is a good time to try this one. Heard some good things about it, and although I'm not really a fan of brut IPAs, I figured I'd give this a try. Sweet, fruity aroma of mango and I'm assuming black currant (I'm not too familiar with black currant). It smells like it'll taste really good. The 14.2% abv isn't noticeable in the aroma. Taste has mango and black currant, just like in the aroma. The hops aren't overly noticeable and that could be due to this being 5 months old, but more than likely it's due to the high abv and style. The alcohol is surprisingly not super intense; in the mouth you can tell it's got a good bit of booze, on the swallow it doesn't initially warm the throat, but after a few seconds you feel some heat. Despite having so much fruit flavor, it is quite dry on the finish as it should be. Medium body with a medium-ish amount of carbonation. This is probably the first brut IPA I've actually enjoyed. I'm glad I made the purchase. Oh, and it's definitely helping me wind down after work. 4/5
